What does a small ambitious town need? In 2008 the administration of Orkdal started making a governing document of urban development for the coming 30 years. Together with urbanists and architects, arranging workshops for schools and citizens, a huge visionary plan was created. I worked as a building officer in this period, and got to bring up one issue that until then had been neglected in the plan: the beautiful river Orkla. Investigating and displaying the potential of a naturpark changed and gave one answer the initial question: What we already possess!
